Personality is something really difficult to talk about or deal with, but today I really enjoy Molly's True Color Survey. It helps me a lot to understand some situation in which some of my students are involve.
In my opinion, solve this survey does not mean you know exactly how a person is, but you can get an idea about what kind of things they are good at, or at least how can they help in a team work.
In addition, post-survey activities make us interact between us, also make us share our feelings and agreements about different characteristics.
It was a nice day, and this is the first activity I learned and propably one of the first one I will use with my students.

A few years ago, we had a participant on a training program that was very "green" - intellectual. And at the beginning we all laughed and discussed the traits of green and other colors. Later on though, we ran into some conflicts where the "green" participant had hurt another person's feelings - by speaking frankly about a historical / ethnic event in his country. It was fascinating to see how the "green" person could not recognize why his words had been hurtful. And the "blue" - emotional person could not accept that the other one had not done so intentionally. It was very interesting to realize just how much misunderstanding took place because of people's personalities and perceptions. Knowing a little bit though about their colors, we were able to help them bridge the gap and make peace (eventually).

Totally agree, I think this survey can provide us (as teachers) some solutions to those conflicts but also can prevent them if we observe our students carefully.
EliminarAlso they could learn how to treat with the rest of the class, a green one could become a bit blue and the blue ones become a bit gold or at least, try to adapt ourselves to different situations.
